  • Got mine as my first acoustic in probably 90-91. Received the exact model today in the mail. Still sounds so good and easy to play. Needed to get it back for sentimental value.

  • Yamaha Sounds Great. And you've got a Very Good Singing Voice. Should have finished that first Song..

  • Love your playing and singing!
I've got this guitar. My mom bought it from a pawn shop (with a case) for about 100 USD in 1991 (must've been one of the earlier ones or somebody REALLY goes though guitars fast) and it's been passed down to me. It's pretty beaten up, and I have no idea if it's always been like this or if it was me and my brothers. But it plays, I play it every day and have for 2 years now. Even if I get a better guitar someday I'll be keeping it to just mess around with.

  • I have this guitar, I bought it in Munich in 1991. It still sounds the same, except my brother gave me Elixir coated strings and they've stransformed it. A good hammar is worth hanging onto.

  • I feel conflicted that Stone in love means more to me than Here comes the Sun! I guess Journey were bigger to me as a young Springy I guess it's a generational thing . Although I'm sure Norwegian wood and Here comes the Sun will live on far longer in the popular conscience.. as for Wonderwall although I've performed it a million times I can happily never sing it again ! strange how we can over hear songs ….
I can't believe I've just ranked a Journey song more important than Beatles song, problem is they're both brilliant bands .. to me ..
    Peace and love brother
Btw the yamaha is great ! ????????☮♥️

  • I have the same guitar my friend, still sounds as good today as when I purchased it in the early nineties. Lovely playing as usual.

  • Sounds decent for 1993! In other news I've pulled the pin, get yourself some popcorn, this might take a while…
