What song is it?
I swear by short scale basses. Always have. First one was a Fender Musicmaster. I don't have massive hands. This is perfect for me.
Do you post anything that doesnt sound like one note garbage?
Absolutely no, the bast part about short scale basses is the minir length and weight compared to a standard size bass
I use a shorty bass for clubs that have a small stage..
Ok, now medium scale bass? I genuinely always wondered if there is a difference in sound after I heard Stu Hamm played 32 inch basses.
Depends on the player. Full-scale basses are too big and heavy for some.
I own 2 of them…never going back
i have a 15" mandolin in standard guitar tuning, scale length is just a suggestion lmao
I don't find these version… Please help !
Intonation is better on a shorter neck
Ive got a Danelectro short scale and it does things my p-bass or my borrowed stingray just cant do. Way fun to play.
One word…THUMP. I had an sg short scale for a while, the mudbucker drove me nuts. Tried one of the LP jr basses with the humbucker in the middle and it was great.
So what then are the disadvantages with a short scale if they are also easier to reach notes with, and presumably lighter (and therefore easier on the back)? Is the tone not as good?
Heh….Nice hat dude! ????????
Love my micro bass! ❤❤❤
That tune at the start of the Video is Outtasite, So Funky. Who and what is that!!? ????
They feel like toys in my hands. Like a kids guitar.
The dingwall 37 Inch multiscale does the same for me. However its a bit harder to play, but also way bigger sounding.
Thank you for that explanation. First I'm hearing of this and never could understand why someone wouldn't want a longscale
You're saying that on a standard bass, a low G sounds different than a high G? But, they're both G. All notes sound the same on any type of guitar. On my shitty, cheapo £80 standard scale bass, the notes sound the same across the fretboard. I don't understand what you're trying to say
