Firewood
Sounds good but how does it play?
How does it sound clean?????????
Pretty good imo, it definitely has different pickups than the og jazzmaster, finish looks neat, at that price id expect a strat tremolo, that thing is pretty awesome
Probably just need to add the rhythm circuit and you got yourself a p90 jazzmaster
Manufacturing has come along way. It’s becoming easier to mass produce with tighter and tighter tolerances.
Firewood ????????
@ completely wrong….
I could blind test you between several pickups on the same piece of wood and string and you'd be hard pressed to accurately tell me which are which.
Pickups DO matter, but if they are wound correctly, they will sound fine.
What matters is the guitars stability and playability. Are the frets level? Does it stay in tune? Is the neck in good shape? How well is it intonated? Will it stay intonated? Action? Fret buzz?
I set up a $200 peavey I received when I started playing 20 years ago, I leveled the frets, set it up to feel great to play. Sounds nearly identical to any custom guitar I have with "premium" pickups…
The issue with cheap guitars is simply "how do they feel?", not "how do they sound?". This video is useless. You can make a guitar that is easy to play, sound just fine….
… The more you know….
To be fair I really like the warm tone of the $199 guitar. ????
The original it's shine .. higher
The real thing…all the way.
“And this is the same thing here” ????
Willie Nelson
Screw the sound. I'd mod it out anyways. The big question, is that body full sized or is it like a kids guitar?
What's the verdict?
It's worth $200.
at least it uses REAL p90s…
Action, weight, tuning.????
You paid $199 USD for a JM, I paid $188 AUD on AliExpress for a JM with Fender decals etc setup in the style of Kurt Cobain's Jag. It plays awesomely.
Invest in good amps.
Even on a short, what is the point of playing two different riffs, AND with an effect on them???
What the F did I just watch?
Compare two things by doing two different things…
Useless video. Waste
