I think that high gain amp is most likely based on a Dual Rectifier

That has got to be one of the most unique plugins . . . Since the old Amplitude platform. The idea of just throwing pedals on a "board".
The beauty of this is that you could choose NOT to use an amp on Pedalboard itself, load an amp sim up separately (turn off the pedals inside that amp sim), then create a custom Pre-Amp pedal chain, and finally make a second instance of Pedalboard to place after the amp sim and create a custom Post-Amp pedal chain!
