  • I tune it using the things that stick out of both sides of my head.

I bought a $35 classical guitar off ebay and it was great. Beautiful action and tone. I played it all the time. It was made in mexico. I guess they take their classical guitar building serious.

  • Outboard one just like it the neck is plastic there is no trust rod good for deer hunting when you put tension on the strings good luck I couldn't even play it the neck b o w too much

  • It actually sounded better than I thought it would. Maybe you'll get away with just open chords particularly on the first three frets.
Thanks for the review. I wouldn't buy one.

  • It would help if you had a guitar pick. You can't compare it without a pick any guitar would sound not good played with the fingers

  • Tell you what, you learn how to tune a guitar, and learn how to tighten down those tuning pegs, and then we'll talk.

  • Were you using an amp. Looks like you had a clip on mike? It may be worth putting on your favorite strings to see how it plays.

  • You didn’t say, but acoustic guitars need a long time to stretch the strings and get the wood to settle not its final shape. On instruments coming on a freighter from overseas, I’d say you need to tune it three times a day for a week including manually stretching the strings just to give it a chance and you’d probably be better off going right to a decent set of strings, then review the sound again.

  • Maybe it might sound better with new strings. But that thing just goes out of tune so easily

  • Very helpful. I’m an old timer and a survivor of the 60’s folk era. You did this review really well and addressed every issue I think essential. Thanks! Cheers – T????????

  • Well it is the best I've seen in the 30 to 40 dollar range. I hope you were not expecting a taylor or even a proper beginner guitar for that. Ultimately if it's priced as a toy would be, then that is the league it belongs in. Do the tunning pegs have screws that can be tightened?. I would love to see a set up vid to see how good you can make it?

  • I can't watch this, you didn't open the box with a machete. Look for a compensated saddle

  • I wonder what the packaging has been cured with, the dogs are all over it 😉

  • That looks like a glarry, very cheap indeed. Bought one years ago, Chinese guitar. It played but needed a bit of setup work. Gave it away to a friend and he gave it away to someone, no telling where that thing is….lol

  • Don't support this Temu cheap garbage. A month ago, they put little kids on their commercials advertising pornographic Halloween customs. This is a disgusting company from Communist China. I'm unsubscribing from anyone putting these videos up.

  • You can't get your money back. You get what you pay for. A glass cup tried to wash the inside glass broke, sent the large hat not the med you can't add that much to the inside to be wearable. Over and over, and then you pay but get noting. Check your ordors. Stay away

  • I do know someone who bought one of these then replaced the strings and tuning knobs and it turned out "ok." But this sounds like the intonation is totally off depending on where you are playing on the neck. Pretty awful.

  • I've been eyeing the instruments on Temu as I'd like to learn either the ukulele or the lyre. I can see you've done a series of reviews (thank you!!) including a uke so I'm looking forward to watching that, but their guitar isn’t giving me hope.

  • If anyone cares the box says “Please check the fragile items before signing for damage, if there is any damage, please refuse to accept. Thanks”

  • These guitars are poor quality but if you are a guitar player with some good playing abilities and lack knowledge on how to rebuild or make a shit guitar functioning this is a great tool to do so..the fact that it can hold a tune is half way there. Learning how to change a nut and tuners and change the bridge is why a guitar player without tech skills makes this a great springboard

  • It sounds like the intonation is really bad on the Temu guitar. Barre chords sound okay, but open chords in high positions sound out of tune. I suspect that if you played a harmonic and a fretted note on the 12th fret your would hear two different notes.
