Harley Benton Guitars HBO-850 (Review)

The Harley Benton HBO-850 Nylon Guitar at glance, I am pleased to present to you my review and demo of this guitar model. This Harley Benton HBO-850 has impressed for the price Thonman sales it, yet the extra $70 bucks shipping (comes close to $200) makes me think if it is worth it in the light of all other available options. I hope my review helps clarify your questions if you are considering this option.

The instrumental at the beginning is available for download, and that helps support this channel. God Bless!

  • Great review. HB should just CNC lathe, mass produce their own simple, but high quality, open brass gear tuners. Also, they could laminate 5mm of rosewood on top of any inexpensive hardwood for a fret board. Then charge 20 more dollars for it. I regret not buying at age 13 for $100 in 1979, a real blue top ovation a woman had for sale at a garage sale. My mom already bought me a 1964 Gibson all mahogany LG0 for $200 earlier that summer. The Gibson was a perfect choice actually. Easy to knock about with, great tone, and parlor size. Highly recommended for all styles of play.

  • Thanks for the great demo of the Harley Benton 850. I'm considering buying one like this and your video impressed me that it's definitely worth the price!

  • Hello, i love the guitar but i dont see that model in any site, there are a natural version but the wood it`s so white, and the rest of models not are so atractive for me, where did you find them? Or how can you varnish it? or Maybe it`s only a filter of video…

  • Thanks man was about to pick this up… I think the paint coming off is endearing and beautiful… It show the time the guitar has been there and aged with the user ????

  • Finally, someone demo-ing this guitar and playing it like an actual nylon string guitar. Thank you. ????

  • The funny thing is that the guitar does sound pretty nice!! Those tuners always seem to have issues on the lower priced guitars! But I am digging the sound of it! I guess I could give the fret board a pass if it sounds nice like that!! Great review Enso!!

  • He's back! Hey Enso. Fun video. I actually have this guitar… but in the blue burst. I like it. I don't think you can beat it for the $97 I think I paid for it, at the time. And yeah – with the shipping… closer to a couple hundred. But I dig it. I also have it's cousin… with the steel strings. Same exact finish as this one you are reviewing. Love that one too. I mean… these are not Ovation quality, and you wouldn't go on World Tour with these. But for this amount of cash… I dig them! Fun little guitars, and both of mine play great.
