A Quick Guide to Dial-in your Bass Tone

How to shape your tone with an EBS amp:
1. Start with the input Gain level so the light flickers only when you play the hardest.
2. Leave everything else flat, and jump to the Mid-range to shape your bass tone.
Try this:
– Boost at 250 Hz for finger-style playing
– Cut a little at 600-800 Hz for a slap tone
– Boost at 1.2 kHz for a nice pluck sound
– If using a distortion pedal, cut some mids for a smoother sound.
– Once happy with the midrange, add some Bass, and adjust the Treble (and Bright).
3. Use the Character switch if you need more body to the overall sound, or leave it out for a more delicate tone.
