Great video! Please make one for electric guitar processors: Boss GT1, Nux MG30, Hotone MP80, Zoom G1Four and others cheap ones. Please, Thanks for your support.
Yamaha
2 years ago you said the Spark Mini was the best practice amp. They even have a link to your video on the Spark Mini website. What happened for you to lose the love for it? Did it run off with a bass player???
I bought and recieved the NUX Mighty 60 mkii today that blows away all the practice amps mentioned here!!!!!!! Im so happy with my choice!!!!
ORANGE AMPS ARE SO OVER RATED!!! THEY ARE GARBAGE!!!
NUX mighty lite bt should have been up there for what it has the eas of use and sound considering it's not a working amp siting next to drums
Roland and Yamaha FTW. ❤
Absolutely love your channel. I was just wondering your opinion on the traveler ultralight electric guitar?
It really means nothing with such a small number of votes.
If you have a larger amp and arent looking to carry around a tiny amp, just get the Burgera PS-1 attenuator. Turns any amp up to 100w into a whisper quiet amp. About $120, works great and you get the sound of your good tube amp that you have already but just cranked. It's a better sound than an OD pedal. Can be used live and with combos too. A must-have. No need to spring for a practice or bedroom amp that sounds inferior. Just one amp will do it. And it sounds better than any of these options.
The R Cube has a "Flat" simulation or not? Would be nice to connect pedals and IRs to use with it
LT25 gets my vote very decent amp, and not just because it has Fender stamped on it. Vox VT20X also a nice amp
wow you are amazing
6:33 My opinion is the same as yours. It seriously sounds like the speaker is blown out in the demo video. I wonder if you got a defective unit.
I found you because of your Micro Cube review, I have the Micro Cube GX and love that little thing. The Jazz Chorus mode sounds amazing for something that size. I used to be a Marshall guy but the Micro Cube converted me to a Roland fanboy. Add on an overdrive and distortion pedal of your choice and you have a wide range of tones covered.
It’s a shame they’ve discontinued the Micro Cube. I’m tempted to get a Spark Mini but don’t really see the point, if I traveled more often the smaller size would be a bit more convenient I guess. But it’s not as tweakable, unless you’re using the app and amps shouldn’t have apps in my opinion.
Mmmm… Nice! ????
I like your honest opinion ❤❤
Once the larger speaker comes in you can feel the air move,
Few days ago I bought used Yamaha THR5 for 120 euro and I'm absolutely loving it.
Very interesting video.
I’ve actually got a few various home practice setups one is The Spark Go, the original Spark 40 which I rarely use now also a THR C also rarely used, a Roland Micro Cube which I’ve had since they came out and used a bit recently i have Boss Waza Headphones excellent for real late death of night or early morning practice. I also use a Boss ME90 into a Headrush FRFR Go and I’ve recently bought a NUX Mighty Space.
I hate cables getting in the way of my limited space at home so love battery operated and wireless capability
I am also considering a UAFX Lion pedal into my FRFR and also a Marshall DSl one watt as it can scale down to .10 of a watt
Personally I would recommend any of the above its horses for courses I guess anything that gets you playing for years and years I’ve practiced nearly always electric unplugged but having some kind of amp to play through is so much more inspiring.
It is not a particularly bad amplifier. There are worse out there. As well as better. It can chug. It takes pedals well. A change in the speaker would be a improvement upon the stock speaker. The Orianthi signature white version sounds and looks nice. A bit better than the standard Orange Crush 20rt. At least to my ears.
I have a pignose mini amp. it does not have any toys or goodies and this thing is so much fun . you can change tones while opening or closing the cabinet door. but hey, I'm an old timer , but I can cave in and go get a Spark just to try. thanks for the review have a great day
Glad i found your channel it's nice to find people that are honest and stand by their opinions. I felt "hit" on that guitar myths video you made because i find my self always thinking twice if the strings i use or the pick i use and stuff like that is right instead of actually playing the dam guitar XD
I have my Joyo bandamps and take a small marshall speaker cab. Works awesome and I can change heads for what I want to play as I have 4 different ones. Just needt the cab and a bag to hold the amp and my pedals. Then at home I plug the into my bigger speaker cabs so I can still get the volume I want.
Try a Blackstar Debut 50R please. Would be nice to see your review of that amp.
ANY amp, regardless of brand can be made 100 times better, by just swapping out the speaker. Fact
And burgera v5 or HB tube? Real amp with lamp:)???
Comment for the algo’s
Elmo.. I've been wondering why you have so negative attitude to Catalyst amp.. I think it has a very good sound in its priceclass..
Hi Elmo, you need to give the Line 6 Caralyst another go since the major update giving all the original catalyst owners all the new models that released with the CX. It’s a different beast and much improved. Worth noting also the easy interface, power scaling options down to half watt for bedroom use and just sounds so much better now. Kudos to Yamaha and Line 6 for the great support and not forcing those that bought the original to have to buy the new amp just to get the new features.
All of the Boss Katana range up to and including the Artist series have power reduction down to 0.5 w, which allows a full range of drive tones through a 12” speaker at bedroom levels!
I am joiner????and play at work with spark go????love this amp????Please have a look????
