5:45 I want to ask do we have to switch from pointer finger to thumb/middle finger to mute? Because I tried using thumb and my thumb isnt long enough to mute all 3 strings whilst muting also the bottom 3 strings, ive also tried wjth middle finger but because its kinda fast changing one note to another i also can’t do it.. T_T

Thank you Stuart, this was 2nd song i decided to learn on guitar(only solo for starters), and if not you i don't know if i would be still playing, the only and the best solo+ano bando tutorial on youtube, great job and keep going!!!!
BTW if someone is learning too, I accidentally did 8 10 8 10 part while strumming continously (2 fast strums right after down, so down(mute) up(8) down(10) updown(fast mute) up(8) down(10) and reapeat this the second time), sounds the same because timing doesn't change, but you dont have to skip a strum so its easier to keep said timing thigter, and the whole part is the two same smaller parts. idk if its correct but sounds nice too, and personally it was more intuitive to play, so if you have struggles with this part you can try this.
Also you can start pressing 8 fret on a second fast strum and check how it sounds for you.
Section 5 very confusing, ended up building a microwave
