  • It’s on my board along with a Carl Martin duel chorus. Great product! The three presets are actually pretty good but the ability to tweak them and then save makes this even better!

  • I Gordon’s second hand and love it. I can carry three sounds with me without a board or a multi effect. I have a multieffect for playing around and annoying the band mates :-). Sans amp is perfect for my Punk Rock Band. Only thing I miss is a mid control. I still hope for a update

  • Hey jesse can you use these booth tone control and di at they same time like for example running it as a di through out xlr output to the front of the house/PA? Cause i did use this once at church, run it out to xlr and all i had was clipping and lots of hizzing or buzzing.. any idea why? Thanks

  • Is this something that can be used to record direct? I’m a guitar player but trying to add some bass tracks to a song. Trying to keep the bass gear to a minimum as it’s not my forte. Thanks

  • Don't buy this if you think you're going to make your DI bass sound like an amp. It doesn't.

  • I just purchased this box. After finding three pre sets , they aren't always the same volume and it will drive my sound guy nuts going from one to the other and the volume spikes, what can I do to remedy this? am I back to using the volume knob on my bass or do I need to tweak each channel until volume is the same, by using the drive setting?

  • At 3:40 you nailed it. (if their paying attention) Sound guy generally hears you drop out when you switch to bass overdrive, or vise versa. Thus you have a better chance getting the levels matched with the SansAmp vs. using an entirely separate pedal like a Boss Overdrive.

I just veered away from petal boards altogether and let the 6-string guys soak it up. I just see a pedal board as an endless rabbit hole. How far down the hole are you willing to go? In my later years I just choose the less is more approach. What is the shortest & cleanest signal path from my strings to your ears. if there was a DI input on my bass I would use it…Hey, I have an idea Jesse…

In closing, is the compressor at the front end?

  • I literally just modeled these sounds on my DOD bass30. Modeled several Darkglass sounds as well. So glad I bought that $20 years ago.

  • I have had the V2 version for almost 4 months now and I'm already thinking of switching to this one.

  • Just bought one used and had no idea how to use it. Great video, thanks. This is way better than I thought I was getting.

  • Great video. It’s not some ignorant cocky nose in the air “I’m a musician” great with words but horrible displaying bass tone with a D.I video. (You got awesome tone too homie)
