  • Good video but why did you not include the Envelope control, a very important primary control? I think I know why, but want you to admit it.

  • Strange they didn't put a button for scrolling back through presets instead of just forward.. Anyways best video I've seen explaining this pedal so far!

  • Great video. I'm having trouble setting mine to unity gain since it doesn't have a volume knob. Kick it on and there's a massive volume boost. I usually run the gain on my amp pretty high, and the volume knob on my active basses around 50%, so I can turn up the volume to get more tube drive on demand. I'm wondering if it's better to keep my bass volume at 100% and turn down the amp to compensate when using this pedal?

  • This was awesome! I just want to clarify that you can select having your dry bass come through completely unaffected by the modulation, envelope or filters if you want. Hold the shape button, rotate the envelope knob and you can select completely dry bass or have your bass go through all of the effects. So cool!

  • Great sounds! The band and the crowdwill have to wait a few minutes between each song so I can turn some knobs. Beehh, or I use something like a Line 6 with a lot of pre-sets. It will work much better for a live gig.

  • I received mine a few days ago, and it's been an absolute blast getting acquainted with it. I have a Source Audio C4 and a Keeley Synth-1 so I have a little experience with synth pedals. I love the C4 but this thing is much more user-friendly. I would be hesitant to recommend the C4 to someone unless they were prepared to do a deep dive into the Neuro app to really get the most out of that pedal. The MXR has you up and running almost immediately. I know im still in the honeymoon phase but I dont see it leaving my board for quite some time.

    Great vid

  • Just purchased the SYNTH BASS COOKBOOK! I’m very intrigued by this pedal and especially synth bass, but I struggle to figure out how to really utilize it in real world context. I’m excited to see how your cook book helps me!

  • I’m finding that putting a compressor in front of it has given me a way more even sound. Taking out to its first gig next weekend.

  • So, do you think this pedal could replace your Novation for some of your gigs (maybe not all of your gigs)?

  • Excellent vid…exactly what I was looking for. Just received my pedal and was struggling a little bit to understand it right out of the box. This helps alot…appreciate the practical walkthrough!
