  • I wish they’d stop saying Eastman. I don’t want the prices to go up. They’re kind of a well known secret. Fantastic guitars and way under priced for what you get????

  • When my daughter wanted to take lessons, I went to Guitar Center and played every acoustic under $600.00. The best guitar, far and away, was the Fender CD140SCE. Excellent guitar.

  • If I'm spending $1000 or more on an acoustic, it had BETTER say "Martin" or "Taylor" at the top.

  • Sure, ask a salesman what is the best guitar. Using different words but the same message "What guitar can't you unload?"

If you don't play then my suggestion is to ask different players for their recommendation. If you already play then sit down and try them until you find what you like.

  • I would probably just get a Seagull, Made in Canada, starts around $570. all hand made. I bought an S6, played it till it died, Had already bought an Artist Series Seagull, and replaced my cedar s6 with another one, great guitars.

  • Sorry, I've got a Gibson fetish. I'll save up for years. As long as I see that beautiful 6 letter name on that open book headstock. They got me by the balls and I don't care

  • I see a lot of ads out there for the lawsuit, takamini and they’re gone for 500 to 800 from what I’ve seen lately and that’s basically a Martin D 28 that was so accurate Martin sued them. lol there are a lot of good guitars under 1000 look inside. Make sure it’s built right and play it see how it sounds and plays.

  • I just sold my Taylor 914ce Builders Edition because I realized that a super expensive guitar is kind of pointless after playing a few budget friendly ones. It was a pretty guitar but didn't sound as good as some of the others.
