Video is 5 years old today, of that guitar I bought 5 years ago.????I still enjoy it. I have SA, RG, and ART. all great necks, they depend on what sounds I'm tinkering with.

I have had many guitars over the years and the SA260FM was always my favourite (I had two). Great neck. One had locking tuners fitted. I always recommend Ibanez to anyone wanting a good playable guitar.
Which trem system do you think will be apropiate for this model?
Just add better pickups and much improvement.
I don't think they make them in 24.75 scale and that's a pity.

Not a dream guitar at all
It barely sounds as while mr Darrel plays on it
I feel like I should've gotten this instead of the AX120 by Ibanez
The placement of the input jack where you connect the cable is stupid, it gets in the way of the trem arm, they should place it on the bottom of the guitar like on almost every other guitar, especially on guitars with a tremolo. They way it is setup on this guitar it is just waiting for something to break. Other than that, great guitar for the money.
I hate ceramic pickups.

Darrel say they have Jumbo frets, but the specs for SA's online I've seen says they're Medium frets. Did this change at some point?
This great review makes me wonder why Charvel is still using the chunky square heel joints. A deal breaker, in my case. Aren't they supposed to be the modern Strats?

I have had my ibanez sa 160 for many years! I guess about 23 years,.
Silver grey quilted maple, left handed and with a super low action + a demarzio multibucker installed at the bridge..
I scolloped the frets from the 11th up, and sanded the neck and the frets about 10 years ago.. and then set it up perfect, all by myself!!
It's still my favourite guitar!
And upon judging all other left handed guitars that I have played against it, since I set it up, it is still the nicest guitar I have ever played, and it plays nicer than the only Paul Reed Smith I ever played too..
This guitar is the reason that I only own 2 guitars.. because I can't find one that plays or sounds nicer.. so I don't buy them..
I wonder how easily a wizard neck would replace the SA neck, mostly for that extra thin-ness.
I snagged a barely used one very cheap and Ibanez are well-made. This is an older one from Indonesia with H S S pickups and all original with gig bag! Mine is black, heavy and spotless all over with 1-piece maple neck from the old days …
I bought a SA160FM last weekend, it's such an easy guitar to play and so well balanced. It plays better than my epiphone les paul custom which was 3 times the price.
