BUDDY BLUES< this pedal is 8yrs old why are you finally finding out about it?
Sounds grest but really isnt reminding me much of a Dumble to be honest.
To me the pedals that capture the Dumble vibe best are some of the Jetter pedals like the Monster and GS124.
But really the best Ive heard (especially through a Fender circuit) is the Ethos Overdrive and Clean III pedals.
I do enjoy the OG Zendrive, but its kinda a one trick pony. Albeit its a nice trick.
The Vertex stuff to me just isnt that inspiring or close to the D sound. Bought the SSS Vertex and kinda expected more. It sounds decent but nothing quality wise to the Jetter and Ethos.
Greg Koch loves the Jetter pedals and he can coax pretty convincing D tones in his clips.
the backing track has as a Staple Singers vibe to it, i loved the staple Singers , Mavis could SING

That pedal sounds like there is an Octavia mixed in so it would be great to channel the Hendrix tone. There is more of a harsh square wave edge unlike a Dumble. Maybe with the gain and tone down a bit more…? I do like how it cleans up. I don’t here the Dumble tone though, sorry.

Haven’t checked price yet, but it sounds to fizzy for me, even at half gain and there are a number of very enticing dumble pedal options these days, including those with dual channels.
Too much fuzz not enough note definition maybe back off on the drive on the strat.
