@youhavegeniusshins Why not have more tone shaping capability? Does a painter need only 1 brush? Or one color? "Need" and having ample tools to express your creativity are 2 different things… Glad you like the Sadowsky, but having choices is what it's all about! For one player Sadowsky might be the greatest! But for the next Music Man might be the right choice!

@theperfectbass I don't care where it's made, or the amount of years a manufacturer has been around–unless it's made out of glass or some other ridiculous deal, $2500 will always be an excessive amount. At most: $1000, and that's still pushing it to the limit. It's all about making a bass that sounds great and is 'affordable' to the general consumer.
By the time you dial in the sound with all those buttons — the song is over.
And it can be yours for the low price of $2,500
There's so many tone options with it. I tried it out yesterday.
Sounds clean, though I can't feel the bottom on this video, like on a Fender.
