Mooer is awesome
Wow, I’m actually very interested in this. The price is very doable. Having a beat is great. Would love a looper.
every mooer product i have ever bought broke. No thanks.
is it possible use footswitch and notebook/phone with app by bluetooth at the same time?
This is gonna be serious competition for the Spark Mini with a looper
ir's, etc aren't the future but the digital present that boomers haven't adjusted to yet
I’ve learnt ,you can’t tell much about these desktop amps "until" it’s on your own desktop.
Wow this thing sounds amazing I'm actually shocked. I would love for you to review the SD30i they got as well. If it's worth the money to get the bigger one or get this. I love the USB Type-C connection with the phone to do recordings That's amazing.
Is the chassis metal or plastic?
Surprising to hear that Nuno was using this as he endorses the Spark ones.
looks like an awesome piece of kit. don't really have a use for something like that anymore, but i might again in the future.
I just do not fancy these app-driven devices.
I am pretty old school. All I want is an amp and maybe a couple of actual pedals.
Nice that they keep coming up with portable amps, for me pignose 7-100 is BiS.
I think it sounds a bit better than the laptop speaker…. but really, for the plastic box sound it does produce, my laptop can fill the same niche without touching my wallet…. I already have a 1/4in to USB cable (modified to work properly) anyway. I could not use this on stage with that sound….. I don't think I would want to busk with it unless I was really hungry.
I'll take my battery operatedor ac Roland Microcube(the original one) over this thing anyday………….
Ok but this actually sounds really good
A big, bold tuner! Didn’t watch it yet, it unless it’s got one, forget it.
The Mooer GFW4 wireless footswitch can also do things like controlling the looper, drum machine etc
I use that footswitch with a Mooer Prime P1 for rehearsals and could easily play a full live set with them, I sometimes use them in conjuction with a pedalboard and ABY splitter live, can do some very cool stuff with that setup, more or less the same stuff in that amp as Mooer's Prime devices have
Not surprisingly all the high-gain sounds sound spine-tinglingly horrible so he quickly passes them by without comment, and what would you expect from 2" speakers. TBH don't really get these units. If you're on the road you're probably going to be doing silent practice in which case buy a Katana GO or some small format floor unit like the MG-30 (which cost 20 quid less than the F15 + footswitch, and has proper send and return, inbuilt volume pedal, inbuilt footswitches etc ). If you're at home, you're very likely to already have a decent set of speakers on your desktop (or sound bar on TV), so just use those, and if you're away from your computer desk, and want to play somewhere where they are no speakers, then yeah, maybe… but then why not just hook up to portable speaker with an aux in (if you already have one)…? IDK, it just seems like they invented a new form factor to sell the same stuff again, and who can blame them with such a saturated market…
Jesus these portables are getting goooood. So cute ????
Seems to be a very good amp for beginners and kids.
I will make the suggestion to you, if you get a Bluetooth transmitter that stereo input adapter for the two outlets on the back, and then you send it to your sound bar on the bottom of your television, if you are with the subwoofer, you will love that thing. I have the Bose subwoofer with two satellite speakers for stereo separation for my television. But I use it sometimes to send my the outlet from my spark go and it's fantastic I also send it from my Roland Street cube EX. I know the speakers you listen to something makes a big difference so when I don't want to turn on the big tube app and heat up the house, and try to control that volume, that's an excellent setup. You should try it
You answered my question: all the presets available without having to use app. I have the Mooer SD10i (neat little amp, but no screen, and if want more than 4 presets have to use the app). It is amazing the sound they can get out of these amps that are about the size of a lunch box….
great sounds great review
Sounds great
I’ll stick with my Micro Terror… PSYCHE! I’m getting one of these, that sounds so good!
I have owned pretty much all of these kinds of desktop practice amps over the last near 10 years. To this day, to my ears, the OG Yamaha THR series continues to win on the pure sonic criteria but loses on features and price. As an overall package of tone/features/price, the PG Spark 40 and Spark 2 continue to be the Boss Katana of this market segment – I still use my OG Spark 40 v1.0 on a near daily basis.
This thing sounds pretty good clean but loses points for me with the drives and distortions. Touch screen is nice but just flashy at the end of the day. It also seems very lightweight, which is good and bad.
Not bad for a bit over 125USD. For pure portability, this might win versus the heavier Spark 40 series units, though it is trivial to make both versions of the Spark 100% off AC grid.
Seems like a good effort but I'll pass, though I will try to play and hear it for myself before final judgement.
Sounds great
Sounds good through my Yamaha THR speakers. I don't know what some in the comment peanut gallery are going on about. So much needless negativity about nothing.
Congrats on 150k!
Amazing
During the video, the clean sounds are soooi good! Quite impressed!
Sorry, no disrespect to you John… Mooer is not a company I will ever purchase from EVER AGAIN. After Mooer abandoned the users of the GE300 product line, I will NEVER buy their products again. As soon as they sell enough, they move on to the next hyped gadget. As a performing musician, I need my gear to be lasting and supported by the manufacturer. Mooer product support is severely lacking. A big disappointment.
