  • Good demo…I got a A3. However, besides good cable connections it gives a grid / hissing noise. What is the solution ?
    Thanks in advance.

  • I hope Samurai Fingers understands that this video has SO many thumbs down because viewers hate when a hot chick in a thumbnail doesn't show up in the video. 🙁

  • The guitar player is beyond useless. He needs to play while changing effects. Good explanation of effect from the other guy

  • I think being able to choose only 2 effects at one time is a serious drawback to buying it.  Most acoustic guitarists need compression and reverb or delay as a baseline. Many like to use all 3. They really missed the boat on that. What a shame.

  • @Sam Wilson – it's more of a gear demo than a review specifically.
Hence why not more care was given to the sound aspect of the video. But thanks for checking it out!

  • He's says "there's nothing like this on the market" @ 12:25. Isn't this just like the Fishman Aura? I mean other than the fact that the Aura cost almost twice as much.

  • I like the A2.1u also. since you've used them both, can you tell me something about the live usability of the A3? What I liked was the volume pedal and the easy, foot activated switching between presets. Ergonomically, physically, will the A3 be ok in this regard? switching between 2 or 3 sounds instantly with the foot. Thanks in advance.

  • Sorry to gush, but I just watched this again. It's a really good demo. Now I want one! Just for kicks. I just got a Zoom A2.1u pedal because I wanted a small battery-powered pedal (with a volume pedal) for my Taylor GS Mini as my carry-on flying guitar package. I like this A3 though. Very cool features and power and CHEAP. Thanks for the great demo. Keep them up.

  • This is actually a really good demo/overview. You know how to articulate the features of this. We need way more sales people in music stores that are accountable about the right product for a customer and more who are armed for bear with product knowledge. You are good with this product.

  • I am a bit confused. I was agreeing with you Samurai dude. Not challenging you. Read what I said again. Actually, if I were to critique your video of anything, it would be that you were just using the mic to try to record the subtle on/off Zoom comparisons. Can't really hear the differences dude. Try a direct feed next time so we can hear the true sound of the device. Peace.

  • Seriously? You still want a nice guitar. This is not a miracle fix. It is a very well thought out enhancement to an already decent sounding guitar. Remember — you can't polish a turd.

  • COOL! That's entirely possible! Sometimes there are EXEMPLARY instances in any brand – sounds like you've got one! Thanks for watching! =)

  • of course! This is not so much a "guitar simulation" pedal as a "guitar augmentation" pedal for the performing acoustic guitarist. =) And I would HIGHLY recommend coming in and trying one of our HUGE selection of Breedlove guitars! IMHO BLOWS Takamine out.of.the.water. again, just my opinion. =)

  • lol – well there you go! I don't think it can replace a good guitar…but it certainly can enhance any guitar and make them sound better certainly! =)

  • With a pedal like this, why buy anything but a super cheap guitar? Or just nail a pickup onto a 2×4 and attached a bridge, neck and strings. 😉
