Great work. There are certainly a couole of ways to get there. Hes micing his tweeter as well. I gott a whole lot closer to fieldys sound with an beginner combiamp by setting the neck-pup higher (hence closer) to the strings
Fieldy does this without mic on strings. These are setting on the amp. You can have clicky tone even without slap. Suicide Silence did it live. Search on youtube "Suicide Silence – Wake Up (Never Say Die Tour – Munich Germany 2011)"
To accentuate the click sound live he would mic the tweeter horns
