  • Ummm…. There's a lot of exceptional flavors… In many styles of guitar… So many exceptional instruments for under $1000….. Not with fender or Gibson on the headstock, for that price though…. You can actually go quite a bit cheaper than the $1,000… Of you ship wisely these days, as well….. But yes. PRS SE models are excellent and worth the money….

  • PRS is an amazing company. Everything works beautifully. Absolutely fantastic voice. She is a star in hiding!

  • I came back to listen again. Sean I was so mesmerized by the vocals that your exquisite accopaniment got overlooked. That was some great playing there.

  • They did so much to make this decidedly PRS with the notion (some would say hubris) that they had built the better mouse trap, referring to the strat/silver sky…opinions vary. It feels more blues hawk with your eyes closed. It plays phenomenally. Very well made. Its a PRS. It breaks my heart though. If youre rock guy who like the tele resemblance, the build, the performance, and humbucker tone, this might be your "eureka" find. If you are steeped in the ways of the chicken, and said chicken's spirit demands that in 3/4 time at speeds between waltz and blister, with snap, pop, honk, wail, and of course crow when appropriate, this leads one to sigh at what might have been. The ONE THING that makes a "t style" a t style is the bridge and to be absolutely specific the bridge pickup, wired and wound to exacting specs w exact materials , in an exact size and shape, w exactly the correct metal plate on the bottom. I love the ash tray, but ive learned to love the additional sustain of a HEAVY modern style t bridge and. Neck and or possibly middle pick up of your wildest dreams, i love it. Nothing but the bridge pickup mounged directly to the body in a chisel gouged hole in a slab of scrap for a body, i love it. The tele or t style is the bridge pickup. I will say id prefer this to a 70s style custom w the wide range pupz at both ends. Leo already did this though at G&L. Warm, narrow field pickups that sound decidedly untele-ish (and you can even individually adjust the poles in those). I wanted to love the ASAT bc i loved the z3 commanche, and i owned 2 beautiful ones, but changing the pickups in a G and L feels like putting a crate engine in a new ferrari, even if its a better engine. So i will not be indulging. I COULD LISTEN TO HER SING THE SONG THAT DOESNT END AND THE NAME GAME SONG ON LOOP FOR ETERNITY AND IT WOULD STILL MELT ME. JUST….WOW.

  • Curious as to where you are from. Your intonation at the end of some words is unusual. I can't place my finger on it

  • There's a lot of great guitars under $1,000 at my store. We have over 60 guitars under $1,000 that are fantastic and we do a lot of clearance. We don't advertise clearance. You can get an All-American part American Gibson pickups, and a hard case on a signature model or reissue Epiphone right now for under $1,000 clearance from $500 to $2,000 off on epiphones and Gibson's right now in store.

  • Great song. Reminds me of Nora stuff. Love the guitar . I bought one a week ago. I am a fan of noiseless single coil especially for in room recording

  • After Paul's nonsense raging about tonewood PRS is a no for me, I just don't support idiocy.

  • What could possibly have motivated you to pick that color? Paul must have been being held prisoner in a basement somewhere when he approved it.

  • No man. I can't get with this. I guess a review of the Silver Sky is next. Shame. I thought we were on the same page.

  • As nice as it is, NF3 is currently half the price of this in the UK and adds a term arm + an extra pickup.

  • PRS SE line is almost like philanthropy to musicians. They are so good and affordable.

  • Nice accompaniment on that song, Sean. Lilu sounds gorgeous as always. Please don’t become a PRS guy ????.
