  • God. What about the vintage version of this head with the carpet covering? Why isn't there a video of that on here? Trying to listen to that amp not all the new ones. I want a vintage tone at dirt cheap prices. Fuck.

  • The spec sheet said it did, but I wouldn't doubt it , I work for Mitsubishi & when I ran out of out Picture tubes ,they had RCA much cheaper tube that would be used. You don't really know what you got till you crack it open & look in, case in point my brother bought a $30 no name DVD player he looked to see the inside the main guts was Toshibia 10 times the cost back then. But I still think Motorola makes the chip, It's a Very powerful Chip 32 bit floating point, & Why would an analog co.make it

  • If you have an income, budget tube amp pricing isn't far away from solid state amp pricing. If you want to save money on a variety of effects, there's always stuff like the Lexicon MX series rack units.

If your ears like solid state, that's fine. Mine, however, remain unsatisfied by solid state amps. In a blind test video a few months ago, I was one of a handful of commenters who never doubted that they were hearing a solid state amp.

  • Not many people can afford tube amps, man. The SS gets the job done and allows us to have a halfway decent tone.

  • apart from any of the solid state stuff, they really miss the mark with all that, fizzy and cheap, there are far worse amps out there though
