  • Oh my god! I now have a problem as I was looking at the Boucher SG-52-MV which is rosewood back and sides, silly question but if I was to buy only one the SG-52-MV or the BG-42-TG as a one all round guitar which one????

  • Big, round, bold, open sound with exactly the right blend of tone! Must be as good as it gets.

  • Thank you again JP to help us create awareness for our guitars, we really appreciate it. It’s really cool that Jake is part of the video. You guys are awesome! Best regards from the whole team

  • We have to stay true here guys <3 The early versions of the Ibanez AVD 10, AVM 10 and AVN 10 were All Torrefied Spruce Tops with Torrefied Mahagony Back and Sides. Rosewood Bridge, Bone Nut and Saddle. Incredibe beasts – basically for free. They changed the Back n Sides to Ovangkol later on i think, but the early rounds of those guitars are cannons. Some of them are as Bluegrass as they can be. One guy even put some cloth like material under the saddle because he wanted to tame that baby (not needed, but tastes vary).

Check them out if you can, you can score them 2nd hand for 300 bucks. Add 100 bucks for the set up (some people played around with the saddles or made their own adjustments).
Bonus Tipp: If you want them to be even 5% bigger in tone, install unslotted bone nuts. Damn, they will go through the roof! 😉

  • I swear I was watching this same video yesterday and then it frozen midway through and seemed to disappear. I then looked all through JP’s channel listing for it but nothing…until today. I’m glad its back

  • Absolutely stunning sound. How I wish could play at that level. Will keep trying because of channels like JP. Absolutely beautiful.

  • I have a BG-42-GM and it's incredible. Mine is already the loudest acoustic I have ever encountered so I can't even imagine those being louder.
