If you haven’t already looked into the Hiwatt based pedals to use on bass, there are the Catalinbreads you mentioned, the Mastereffects 100, the Tech21 Leeds, the Sushibox Elementary (like Rah with a tube) and Dr Wattson (like WIIO with 2 tubes), and Hiwatt makes The Ox preamp. I am starting with the Rah as you did and will see how it goes.
