Now I have more time to get into the bass again I’m coming to the conclusion that I went the totally wrong direction.
I didn’t have any of this or the internet when I started. Most comparable explanation I can give is playing very similar to Royal Blood with lead style riffs mixed with traditional bass lines in between. Sure I could cover all the songs I heard but I never felt compelled to play that way on my own.
20yrs later I know how to play but I don’t play like anything I come across on YouTube. Gives me something to learn I guess. Now that I’m older I don’t feel like I have to play like I’m mad at the world of that makes sense lol
Also, never listen to any Van Halen or Foreigner.
