THE ULTIMATE ACOUSTIC GUITAR TONE: No Mic, No Feedback, Just Your Modeler. How to make it SHINE

Ciao everybody and welcome back to my fun room!

In today’s video, I’m tackling a common challenge for every guitarist: how to get a fantastic acoustic sound without using any external microphones or expensive gear.

I’ll be using my trusty Fractal FM3 and an Eko MIA guitar, but the principles I’ll cover apply to any digital modeler—whether you have a Quad Cortex, a Helix, a HeadRush, or something else.

We’ll build a patch from the ground up, covering:

Input Gate: The first step to a clean signal.

Pitch Block: How to get that lush 12-string sound.

Compression: A touch of punch and clarity.

Preamp: Warming up your tone.

Effects: Adding Chorus, Delay, and Reverb to make your sound sparkle.

You’ll hear how my live setup sounds and why it’s the perfect compromise for gigs where feedback is a real concern.
