He definitely has another one (as he says) although there should be at least 3 if I am not mistaken.
This is the “spare” of the other ‘54 he has, The spare, the duplicate, as in figurines..
A “duplicate” of about 20k euros.

Old basses that have been played a lot has that special feel, it's been broken in. Sometimes you do need to re-fret if you've been playing a lot, but there's something special about the old gear.

There wasn't a 3 tone sunburst in 54 or 56. 2 tone brown only, no red. So we know it isn't the original finish. So what is it a tribute?
