** The reason for the AC/DC covers is that I’m really getting into AC/DC again lately. My best friend loves them and we go to see a tribute band called Back in Black every so often and have a lot of fun. They’re really great and always get me in the mood for more. I wanted to do thunderstruck though because of the technique involved to play it. I know what you’re probably thinking- it’s boring and easy. Why would you practice with it? Well, besides it being a great song, I’m working on using a pick. Cliff Williams uses a pick and AC/DC is a great start to using a pick. But wait! There’s More! I tried to get the right sound on those eighth notes but couldn’t get close until I started to p

the difficulty of AC/DC on Bass, Drums or Rythm is the punch and consistency they use, it looks fucking easy but if you play a 2hour show infront of thousands of people you will feel exhausted and have to play like a machine. also for the lead riff from angus, he plays it really long and at least my hands would get tired after just 3 songs if i would have to play them in a row.

This is the bass life. Delivering hundreds of perfect 8th notes on time and up to tempo so that there's a powerful bottom to underpin the song. No-one knows you're there until it's taken away and everything sounds thin and screechy. Excellent job on this.
It may seem easy and the melody is very easy but Imagine the amount of stamina you need to have to make it through a 2 hour concert. Cliff doesn't only need to play this but countless others even faster songs like let there be rock and shoot to thrill.

That's why I love bass guitar. You don't need to practice for months to enjoy it. Even someone who plays a musical instrument for the first time in his life can sing along in a week. Every level of bass is enjoyable because there is a song to accompany at every level.
But you're appearing to actually play D string on 2nd fret instead of A string 2nd fret???
