Is having any tone you can think of worth $10 a month? $100 a year? Does a subscription service actually have value if you don’t have a perpetual ownership of the product? Today I look at STL Ignite Amp Hub and discuss if this platform is right for what I like to do and check out some tones along the way.

  • hey that Cobra sound was so so good. Was that a direct recording from the plugin? What kind of audio interface do you use? Thanks!

  • Your sound is awesome ! That cobra is a killer , I’m using IRig as an interface and to the computer , I also use the TONEX pedal as a interface , what do you recommend to get that chunky beefy clean sound ?

  • Love it. Not a ton of amps in it I enjoy, but the cabs and effects (for mixing) are great. SLO, JTM (with a HM2!), Dual Rec are good. Some of the boosts are alright, tend to need tone very high for some reason.
The cabs are my fav though. Getting 360 coverage is killer, getting on whichever side of the cone you want (makes a big different, the blob being the main cause). It's the closest I've seen to having actual cabs in a studio, and allows for excellent mixes as a result of that, given they sound great and great cab + speaker selections–would love more though.

  • If i subscribe, Does it works offline? Can i expect to use it on a gig outside of my house? Is it possible to switch the différents settings with a midi pédal on stage (like a mwave chocolaté for exemple)?

  • Man, I play at church, I love eletroharmonix microsynth, and I’m trying for so long to try to mix pedals so I can build my own without paying 500$ on one, you think I can do it with amphub and also use to play live at church on the guitar?

  • i hate subscriptions and i love that they allow you out right buy the amps you want and you can demo the ones you want to try. Also there bass ampeg model is so good for tone

  • I personally think it's worth it. Especially because real amps cost a huge amount of money to which I just can't justify doing for me to sit in my music room where nobody but myself is gonna hear it.

  • Can I use multiple amps at one time? I would like to blend amps together like I do in real life

  • So pricing it out… if you're for high gain tones… Just grt the Josh Middleton suite as it is only $150 off sale. You own 3amps, pedals and effects and cabs. With amp hub outright with even just 3 amps you already are paying far more than what the Tonality suite offers. I honestly think 2 different marketing departments are pricing things because amphub is a scam in comparison

  • I've been using Amphub for a few months now and it's been my go to. I even have some Neural DSP plugins and I still go to the Amphub for the most part., especially recently with the Revv and Diezel amp additions.

I also have the IK Multimedia stuff, but that company's left a weird vibe to me. Their installation process used to be the jankiest thing ever and there's not and, comparing Amplitube and Amphub back to back (same amps, same IR used), the Amphub seems to sound better overall.

  • what interface are you using? I've tried amp hub with fractal fm3, helix, ua volt and rme babyface and I still cant get it to cut like that

  • AmpliTube sucks, IK has no support but Wow where did they get the Money to have all those brands in Pocket!???!!

  • So i had tonehub, my dumbself decided to update and now its asking for a license. I tried to take the access code from my ILOK and it doesnt take it ( even though i bought it outright years bacck) its no longer taking the code> is there a way to download a previous version or revert back or is there a way around this

  • You can still buy each amp individually as well so there’s an option for whatever works for you. I bought a few STL amps as I don’t see my self using more than a couple so the subscription seemed like a waste
