They all sucked, but the Z really sucked.
The peavey was a real surprise. As was the inexpensive blues breaker.
The Astoria is an amazing amp. Does make you think about all these boutique amps…

Partial to the Bugara and Supro in this demo.
Theres so many variables in and an amp settings that even a basic comparison would take some 3-5 hours min and would require a looped guitar part for consistency.
Don't mean to be snarky but it's refreshing to finally hear demos performed by someone w/ actual chops !

The Z was so bad. Peavey 30 is a budget Plexi. I like the pickups in that Tele

Great demo! Great playing throughout. BUT 3 minute mark has some truly greasy killer playing!

I'm glad I watch this again in 2023, apparently some amp does make the vintage telecaster pickup set sound so glassy! Even in highly cranked situation. I'm glad, it's not the Roswell pickup vintage set that I have then, I got the wrong cab/amp for my taste (warm/dark sound). Thanks Johan!
