Guitar Practice Exercise: Build Strength, Dexterity and Synchronization
Is it torture or a workout? How can you tell the difference!?!?!
Be careful with this one, but rest assured it will get big results once you get it up to speed. Once you DO get it you’ll be able to change a tire without tools!

????
my ligaments are twitching in my forearm just by watching this ????
I'll give it ago, but unfortunately I developed a carpol tunnel syndrome lately , so i must take it easy for now
My brain is having more difficulties than my hands. This is like a brain teaser!
thanks for your good content, keep going.
“Completely Evil “..!!! Lol ..!
This is helpful for me,also as an exercise for string skipping pick-wise..
Great stuff,once again,Chris..!????????
thank you sir. I'll try it.
(I've just been playing "Hot Rod Lincoln")
just found your channel that opening practice riff very similar to Black Sabbath song Black Sabbath, I can see how it can really build up your strength, I'm in my mid 50's pretty strong hands, but when I start feeling it in my wrist, I put the guitar down give myself a good rest, right now look at your Patreon page looks really good, I am already subscribe to another site which I love, but this would be a great compliment, right now just have to wait till I subscribe to another site, but I'm definitely interested in subscribing ,
Great exercise!
after watching your other videos I'm shocked with the suggestion of just going down the neck rather than practicing this exercise in the circle of fifths!
Is that the beloved "Jug" P-47 Thunderbolt on your guitar? Classic.
!!WOW!! somehow I missed this a year ago! This is just what I need to limber up my 55Plus year old fingers!! Great exercise!!
This exercise helps me alot, sooo good. My picking has improved so much. Ty Chris ; )
That looks brutal
Absolutely love your videos man. This is an exercise I’ve never seen. Can’t wait to see what it does for my fingers over time!
Good one Chris!
Am hearing is firs 3 notes of scale correctly it's sounds like intro to Black Sabbaths title track ?
Almost 3 a.m. I'll work on it todaymorrow.
It sounds nuttier than squirrel shit on a Snickers bar.
Holy $&*^$&…. This exercise is UNREAL!! I love it! It's a total frankenstein and it's kicking my ass, but wow…….
can you please do a half an hour workout session that we can use by following your lead on diff metronome speed? will greatly help in setting a routine. I struggle with my clean playing skills because of which I never feel encouraged to learn something on the guitar because I'm forever struggling to hit the note correctly, in time and without fumbling. speed is an issue I can't even discuss. thanks.
I'm picking up the guitar again after 15yrs. I was never that good and my technique was even worse. I'm so glad I found your channel. Your explanations and examples give me something I know will help me achieve what I couldn't 15 years ago. It's really helpful knowing what to practice and how it's beneficial. Thank you very much for making these videos and sharing your knowledge.
Great exercise!
Chris I’m a Patreon member and cannot seem to find the tab for this exercise
First 3 notes are “Black Sabbath”
