I'm selling off all my tube amps now. I have moved to Universal Audio pedals and my tonex. WAY less headache, and 99.9% of the tone and feel is there with more customization options.

Just got myself a katana 50 gen 3. Just the standard one. Its fantastic! Such a step up over the blackstar id 20 it replaced. And the blackstar wasn't bad at all to begin with. But the katana blows it away! Highly recommended! I can only imagine how good the higher end ones like the katana 100 and katana artist are! But I'm a poor boy, already broke the bank buying the 50! But worth every penny!

I have a gen 3 head and the pushed "amp" with the bloom is more tube like then my older tube amps.
plus, I can get that tone at basically volume
its my ne desert island amp it can do it all from Waylon to jack white

I tried the 50 Watt Katana. With an ES-335,
(Because the Epiphone Marty Schwartz wasn’t in stock) the push sound was the best the others left me cold as did the effects because of the way the selector knob and ring was. But it was a decent amp. But I the guitar was great!!! I played for two hours and didn’t realize it. My hands did not hurt????at all. The Fender Ultra Telecaster, played that for an hour????. Love that guitar!

I sold my MKII, I liked it, but it never satisfied my as much as my Vox or EVH combo. Sound was great, but never had that "punch" feel of a tube amp, I was always missing something ????

Like I said Marty If I only ????had your money.. seriously dude ????… I play an Alvarez acoustic… But I don't have a marshall stack.. but I'm more of an acoustic guy that's why I like the bluegrass.. specials you got different things like that cuz you know I'm trying to duplicate what you're doing on electric on acoustic so there is a different sound and tone to it… Correct brother Marty… It's hard to make an acoustic sound like an es 35.. going through any amplification..
