what I dont get is …….with the me80 there was 4 pedals .with the me90 theeres 8 pedals. Now it got complicated.
Okkkkk..LISTEN UPPPP….for those of you who have the bluetooth adapter connected and want to stream tracks from your phone onto the ME90…. here's how you do it (and it worked) I used Android phone.
Note: if in the past you have managed to connect the ME90 (Midi) to the phone, please first disconnect and forget that connection/device.
1) make sure your phone bluetooth is switched off…and that the bluetooth adapter is connected to the ME90
2) Power on the ME90, and at the same time go to your phone's bluetooth menu
<Before step 3 hope you don't have a trace of the me90 midi if you had connected it earlier>
3) there is a button on the bluetooth adapter…..press and hold it for 3-5 seconds until you see the bluetooth light blinking a bit fast….if it is, this your sign to switch on your phone's bluetooth. At this point you will probably see ME90 Audio. Try and connect/pair it. Now just for testing sake, it might not connect the first one or two times and that's ok. Just ensure that the bluetooth adapter light is blinking while trying to pair with the phone and that the phone and me90 are close to each other (don't move phone much)
If you managed to connect, GREAT.
4) Now you go and open the Boss Me90 app and then the initial instructions will have you trying to connect to the the MIDI function through which you can control the me90s parameters through the phone…..once that is connected you're good to go.
You can now play the guitar while streaming tracks from your phone and also change presets/parameters from the phone.
I just got an ME 90 to replace my peddle board. I was getting too much noise and having problems with it after many years of use. This gives me so many options. I’m still finding my way around this unit and you video is helping me a lot. I never would’ve known it had a Klon in it Centa wasn’t enough of a clue lol

I’ve been a Guitar Hero2Zero fan for many years.
If I buy a Katana 100 gen3, GAFC footswitch and expression pedal, does it make sense to upgrade to a BOSS ME-90 later? Will I get better quality effects with a ME90 pedal, or is the Katana quite enough? Also, is looper in Katana ok, or do you suggest I take another separate one? Thanks

How does this compare to something like the Boss GT100? Which would you recommend for intermediate players? And which is easier to use?
Really sums it up nicely. I considered going the pedal route but the ME-90 has been such a pleasure, and for $249 lightly used, quite cost effective. I hate the menu diving of the more complex panels. Too much customization options for a musically ignorant individual like myself, the ME90s fixed options is very helpful.

Hi. I know this is an old video, but I have been playing for almost 50 years and used to play tube amps with pedals and still love them, but any small clubs I would play in doesn't allow amps any longer. Most want a silent stage. So, I'm trying to find a multi for that doesn't have so much menu diving. I like knobs like a real amp and this thing seems like it would be perfect to go direct. I play almost exclusively 85 percent of the time in pretty hi gain and sometimes use a clean time and then something on the age of break up and that's it basically. I do need a detune or micro pitch tone. I might also use my own Steve Vai Morley wah just because I love it's tone and then I could use the pedal on the ME90 for something else like delay repeats or something. I just wish it had a micro pitch, but I can buy an Eventide and put it in the loop and basically have ever effect I need for the most part and I love Boss stuff. Very good sounding and great value for the money. ❤

Got rid of every amp and cab I owned. Got rid of all 5 of my modelers , ( Kemper, AxeFx, MX5, ToneX and Helix. ) Got this and a Katana Artist combo. Best 2 decisions I’ve made in over a decade. This thing is so good. It’s incredible. Katana Artist is best combo amp ever made also. BOSS/ROLAND are just the best. $850 for both.

You can put the Boss me90 in manual mode and it will be just like a normal pedalboard, and it has multiple different types of pedals in each kind of pedal, so you really get like 50 pedals for the price of 2 or 3.

Ok, I look forward to the day when a guitar's key can be instantly transposed at the touch of a pedal. keyboards have had a transposition button for many years, Why is this feature not available in any multifx foot pedal?

I’m a beginner with effects pedals. This video assumed I knew things I didn’t, provided no useful explanation of how to use the Me-90, and was completely useless. For starters, what connects to what, and what connectors do I plug into? Ya gotta go step by step when addressing beginners.

Good morning. I ask for help regarding the ME 90. Trying the delays: MODULATE, WARM, TAPE, ANALOG, STANDARD and also the one in the EQ/FX2 part, they are practically all the same and not even a stereo one. Is this the case or did they give me a defective pedal board? I've been using Boss pedals for a long time but never with this limit. Thank you and greetings.
