  • I have this Classic 20 + cab, it is by far my best amp, and I have and had lots of good ones over this 30 years playing. It does it all!

  • Fantastic demo and playing! I picked up one of these babies in mint condition for under $500 a few years ago. They are $899 on Sweetwater now.. I love the crystalline clean tones on channel 1, and as a pedal platform. I rarely use channel 2. On channel 1, with my Tube Screamer and J Rockett Hot Rubber Monkey (HRM), I can get killer Rock, Blues, and Modern Country tones. Peavy hit a grand slam with this amp.

  • Love that short jam in the beginning. It sounds monstrous with that PRS. What pedal were you using for the rock distortion sound, or were you using the onboard Gian on channel 2? I one of these in brand new condition which I have been neglecting and your video makes me realize that I need to start giving it some love. It's a beautiful looking head, too.

  • I bought a 1991 Peavey Classic 50 4×10 from my dad in 2005. He bought it new & played through it every weekend until I took it over and gigged it heavily. It’s never been ANY problem and is perfect for pedals. I see no reason to “upgrade”
