I, too, am a purist for tubes and analog electronics. But wow. This is extremely impressive. This to me is as big of a deal as the Axe-Fx was to metal players in 2011.

I am sorry but I am not impressed by it.
The ' gain ' sound sounds muddy and has little clearness .
The clean sound sounds very indirect and all those different possibillitys : ask yourself : do you need them?
Practacily you always like one sound the best and that sound you are gonna use the most ( with your pedals ); I think those amps are overkill with all those different possibillitys for sound . Maybe nice for in a studio or your bedroom but not a decent gigging amp for me.

Supro missed the mark with this one. They made a boxy 1×12 that sounds awful with all that tech and no effects loop for $1500. Just go buy a kemper and be happier with your life.
Very refreshing to hear someone who actually has a good knowledge of the product. So many reviews and demos on here are presented by people who rarely have a clue! I'm so used to hearing things like "i think", "maybe", "umm I'm not really sure" and "you can go and check the specs yourself" in demos, that this is truly a breath of fresh air . Great amp btw

Supro, what consumers was this product marketed towards?
It definitely is not the beginner, correct.
So if it is the gigging or home studio guitarist.
Now, most consumers in this category will, by now, have a guitar effects unit or still using their beloved pedals at this stage.
most of us are impressed with the onboard effects these units provide, but not too happy with the amps.
This is where your product would suffice.

I tried modeling amps through several generations because I hated the uncertaintity of tube amps. Eventually, I gave up on modeling and started my own tube amps. That wes a rabbit hole but hsving a mix digital modeling/analog seems to be the route. The best trade offs depend on the artist and situation so having flexibility is nice.
This isn't a tube amp….it's a tube preamp with a solid state power section….the power section is the only thing that matters when it comes to tube and this AIN'T IT….

Why not built in stereo speakers? Stereo out is nice, but built in stereo speakers would really be nice for use with stereo effects etc.
I had a Supro Statesman with a 2×12 cabinet back in 1973. Got it for next to nothing at the time. Everyone wanted Fenders or Marshall’s.
The main thing I want to know is how hard it is to change the tubes/ valves? Because all modern Supros seem to cost an absolute fortune just to get them changed because you can't get to them. If they've fixed that I'll buy one

jesus christ, just gimme a reliable clean amp. handwired. so it dont cost an arm and a leg. quality components. heavy iron. we dont need all these features. i want reliable nos style tubes and an amp that can be easily repaired. this thing will be outdated in 6 months. next!

Nothing new. The 'modelling amp with tubes' thing has been done a few times before. Even Line 6 had an amp like that via a collab with Bogner.

Another "fantastic" amp with no real rock tones. Pedals can make any amp better I guess.
To me Supro is always Led Zepp 1. Sadly i now know its more Tone bender than the Supro.

Hmm, stereo direct out but no stereo effects loop…swing and a miss for recording and stereo stage guitarists that want to integrate all those cool amp sounds with their pedalboard. Almost nailed it.
Just give me a Fender Princeton Reverb and I'll be happy. Nothing else needed.
just go all the way with fender tonemaster. if ur using a direct sim then ur committed to digital anyway. may as well get attenuation and light weight with fenders. i dont get a tube amp that isnt miced up. why have the vintage tech if thr crowd heres the direct only
Obviously a very cool concept. The cleans sound great but am I the only one who thought the overdrive sounded buzzy? I hate buzzy distortion. I'd have to hear this live before I plunked down $1499.

It’s cool. Not $1500 cool even with the dsp stuff and tube amp folks don’t want to hook their computer up to their amp. We may pro tools it up after a mic , pre-amp, board ect but I just don’t see a laptop on top of my amp ever.
