Great stuff doctor. Thank you, does the gig board have a drop tuner in it yet?
the sound is not good on bass, valeton and line6 stormbox are much better
Debated between this and the HX stomp. Kind of leaning towards this for the simplicity of use. I don’t have a lot of time to play these days and don’t need a million amp models and IR’s. Just give me one good preamp or an amp + cab and that’s usually good for me. Always nice to have some modulation and filter fx to play around with as well. I like the touch screen layout. If I can find a good one on the used market I’m going for it.
If you are not a bass player and you do not know what a bass player need and you do nor know how create „cool bass rigs“ – please stop making videos about „cool bass rigs“
Would you buy this or Mod Duo?
Yeah I'm definitely buying this thing. I was getting it for the guitar tones and amp modeling, but it has bass tones too! This will be PERFECT for the studio, I can't wait to get this! I was gonna get the Line 6 HX effects but I realized it didn't have any amp modeling and it was kinda a deal breaker for me because I don't want a fizzy sound, although they sound great, I'd like to hear it for myself. I still might try one if I get the chance to, but this Gigboard is phenomenal! Amp modeling, plenty of effects, touch screen, built in interface, bass tones, portable, I'm extremely excited!!!
But how would a couple of HR FRFRs handle this:)
Any chance you could run through some more bass amps and the overdrives offered?
