I ordered the Venture 2×10 cab to go with my PF50T tube head. I am really excited to have a nice light weight cab.
I’d like to hear the 1200 with a 410 and a 115 cab
NOT a fan of extra electronic and effects installed into the head. They can come out with a secondary unit you could add. Some people won't want that… like myself and would STOP me from EVER considering it. But I like SIMPLE and I'm a TUBE guy. I'm not a LAZY young punk and can carry my tube head in all by myself… IMAGINE THAT!!!
It's got the Ampeg sound… but the OOMPH is NOT there!! NOTHING compares to a TUBE amp!! Sound and Feel are both required in MY book!!
Looks pretty sick! Would a V7 paired with just one 210 be a good small rig for gigs where you're DI'd into the PA? Would a V3 with a 210 do the job or be drowned out in loud rehearsals potentially?

If you’re purposely going for the “floor Tom sounds like another kick” sound it’s great. I love a floor Tom that rumbles as much as the sound guy will allow.
Sick intro, thanks for the review, I’m saving for a new bass amp and I can’t decide if I buy a Mesa or an ampeg, I used to have the PF-500 and it was great, but the same problem with the DI output sound, in cab sounded killer but the DI sounded with no life, after this I thing I will go for the Ampeg over the Mesa

I just don’t like Neo cabs. I would rather just pay a little bit of extra money and have a little bit more weight than deal with Neo speakers. They just don’t sound very good.

I know this is a bass channel, but do you have any idea how it sounds with a guitar? I'm looking for something suited for both bass and guitar at the moment, and I seen a video about the Ampeg SVT Micro, but I also seen this, but can't find anyone playing a guitar through the venture.
I own a ampeg svt vr I love it but it’s 85lbs. These days it stays home at all times and will only get use in the studio. I run a sans amp or the quad cortex for everything. What an amazing time to be a musician. I love ampegs a lot and tend to use it with a sans amp ( even tho it’s a svt in a box) for more clarity and drive without the neighbors calling the cops. ????
