Donner Pedals Wave Nano Delay Review/Demo: Mostly Awesome!
This is the Donner Wave nano analog delay pedal. I find this pedal very usable and very versatile, but with the drawback of a fiddly power jack prone to failure when moving the pedal around or jiggling the wire.
This pedal sells for $37 on Donner’s website right now: https://www.donnerdeal.com/collections/nano-guitar-pedal/products/donner-wave-analog-delay-guitar-effect-pedal-super-mini
The mini pedals have amazing hardware, but there are issues with the power jacks on the nano pedals currently on the market. The problem is not major, but it is bad enough to not be considered road-worthy in my opinion. Donner claims to have fixed this problem in their new production, but I have not seen one of the fixed versions to verify this.
It is a true analog circuit, unlike the “yellow fall analog delay” which is actually digital. It is also bright green, which I like. The sound is also great and all modes and settings are usable and musical.
The power jack is a concern, but it has not failed me in normal use, only when moving things around, and it is more reliable after thinning the protruding plastic of the jack with sandpaper, but this is obviously not ideal.
For a demo of the power jack issue and the other quirks of these pedals, see my video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pTpqjgu6aE
It’s an 8/10. I recommend this pedal for studio use or bedroom use, but i don’t feel like it’s road-worthy due to the power jack issue it currently has. If Donner has actually fixed the power jack, I give the fixed versions a 10/10.

I don’t work for Donner and they did not give me this pedal. It was a gift from family.

Sick pedal. I enjoyed mine enough to do a review as well 🙂 Donner makes a good pedal if you're looking for something affordable, true bypass, and even analog.
Hey, mine keeps acting funny and I'm curious if you might know anything? I bought it off ebay and they sent me a replacement already but neither one works right haha. The first one worked fine till one day it entirely quit working. The second one seemed to take too much power into the pots, as the feedback sensitivity was MASSIVE, to the point where you plug it up, and it instantly feedback. Maybe bad soldering? Idk, I'd love to keep this pedal though, as its beautiful when it works.
Leaving the "Noise killer" off would have been more informative imho
