  • just scored one for $70, gonna try it as a preamp on 50 watt tube randall and on its own through 412

  • Not loud enough for your band? Attach a booster pedal and crank it 10 decibels or more and you'll blow your windows out with this thing.

  • i was thinking of buying this thing, going DI and using some impulse cabs while i save for a physical cabinet. Would this be good for that kind of thing?

  • Line out of the Heart Attack into the return on the 6534+ amp head and then you can use the presence and resonance knobs (part of power amp section) to further shape the Heart Attack's tone.

  • You look stupid with that piece of metal in your lip. The black fingernail polish isn't helping, either. And those skinny arms…got a gym near you? Sure you do. Find it.

  • You can simply slave a 100 watt head''s power section with the Hotone's preamp section by running a cable from the effects loop send on the Hotone to the larger amp's effects loop return and basically turn the Hotone into a 100 watt amp.

  • Great demo and review, one way if u want it louder I found is to hook up the send loop into a power amp and it sounds amazing, I used a 40 watt power amp into a 2×12 and it was absolutely great…..i also connected the send into a cab emulator into my audio interface and it was a breeze for recording….also a tube screamer in front really improves it more

  • Good review, although where this bad-boy really shines is when you run the FX send out into a tube power amp (and into good cabinets). I'm currently experimenting with mine through a Peavey Classic 60/60 tube poweramp (using only one channel) and into a 1×10 Marshall cabinet (from my Lead 12 mini-stack) and it sounds absolutely amazing I also sometimes do the same but running through my Crate Stealth using the clean channel (basically using it like a pedal) and through my Dean Markley 4×12, it sounds absolutely incredible for super heavy types of metal. The versatility of this amp is simply mind-blowing for the price. Your review was good, but it really only barely tapped into all the possibilities. Hotone knows what they're doing as now they make these nano amps combined as duos and in a pedal board format with reverb (and with a higher wattage amp). They're going to seriously dominate the low-end amp market. I would have killed for their products 20 years ago when I was a working musician and doing session work.
