Guitarist Dave Harrington concedes that while there are a few mile markers in the music that he and musician Nicolas Jaar create as Darkside, improvisation has been the rule from day one. The experimental electronic trio’s latest record, Nothing, which released in February on Matador, was the first to feature new percussionist Tlacael Esparza.
Taking the record on tour this year, Darkside stopped in at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl, where Harrington broke down his complex signal chains for PG’s Chris Kies.

I`m so happy to find out about this band, I never heard of them, it`s the best discovery of the year… Love the show, keep going guys, this channel is one of the best "algorithm" to get to know some great bands and players!

I have a similar pedalboard (only the size of the floorboard). Every time I see someone using that many pedals, I realize how stupid it looks and how dumb I certainly look too. My god! I need to get rid of my big board. It looks so uninspired and unimaginative.

Just one thing i really want to know: did his 45000 ( the one that recieves the midi clock) start recording fresh loop as soon as he hit record or does it wait for four bars and then start recording like mine does?
