  • FWIW…The Pro Control desktop app was available for download on launch day. We added support for the iOS/Android mobile apps shortly after launch.

  • The TMP is the only modeler that has the pog2 and the slow attack, is not really 100% accurate but is good

  • That BE-100… Wow, that has to be the best sound I've heard to date from a modeller. Especially when you kick in that C45 preamp switch. Amazing!

  • Some of those double amp presets are out of phase, strange listening experience on speakers, just FYI.

  • Hi, congratulations on your work. I've been following you since you started making videos about the Fender Tone Master Pro.
Honestly, I'd like to sell it because it has many problems. Every update fixes some things, while others don't work well. I also think that for a new product, it's already old. The sounds are good, but that's not enough.
I hope you can give Fender suggestions for significant improvements.
Thank you. Greetings from Sicily ????

  • I’ve tried it a couple of times. Great screen but the touchscreen response is a bit slow and building presets, putting blocks and assigning foot switch controls is not as great as it may seem.

The quality of some models, especially the crunchy British amps and some high-gain stuff leaves a little bit to be desired. A great unit but apart from the interface I think you get very good modelling quality almost anywhere these days.

  • I had one… loved it… but traded it and the fender fr12 cab for a marshall sv20H, marshall 4×12 1960B cab with G12T-75 speakers and a two notes captor x and have been having more fun with this combo than the TMP

  • The Fender Tone Master Pro really surprised me. The super-friendly interface is a massive PLUS, backed by powerful hardware, longevity, and constant updates. Beyond that, it all comes down to how well you can EQ your sound. I've owned the Helix and a few other multi-effects units, but this one earned my love because I could actually tweak so many features just by guessing, using standard computer logic. With the others, sadly, that wasn't the case. Fender nailed it here. The best part is, you don't need to be a superhero to have fun and make some decent patches

  • If you think about it, the TMP is an investment that keeps on giving and GROWING, as the updates keep adding more tweaks, more effects and abilities. So, one's initial investment is going to pay many dividends of continuous additions of sonic and tonal possibilities and expressions. This is especially obvious when a good pedal is now almost always at least $300 – and yet, TMP keeps adding new effects. Add in the presets, quick arrangements of pedal / amp sequences, etc – really, it's almost a no-brainer. And I also think visually and adjustment-wise, its probably the most-intuitive-to-use device on the market!

  • Fender Marketing Team, put this man on the payroll as an independent contractor (or whatever makes the most sense) to demo every product you make that he’s even remotely interested in. Let him send back, keep, or sell those products at his discretion. He’s legitimately one of my guitar heroes and his opinion holds great weight to me and his many subscribers ????????

  • If I could afford one of these it’d be my choice. It’s simple and sounds good enough and I like the way it works and even looks.

  • I believe Lincoln Brewster has one now too. That’s kinda big since he was an early POD user live back in the day with killer tone. I’ve heard him say that the newer line6 stuff doesn’t have his favorite models anymore. I know he uses UA stuff too so who knows how much is Fender ToneMaster Pro.

  • I really love the screen interface and how it’s laid out in the real world GUI with the amps and pedals. It’s just easier to quickly see and understand and just makes the experience less “digital”. I wish Fractal would do something similar………..

  • Lots of harsh and excessive highs in those Presets. I assume that the Fender people who program them are older than 25, or have suffered high frequency hearing loss.

  • Great Video, and samples and some nice tones, as I have one, and yes a great device, and yes there is room for improvement but sounding great, I just depends on what your looking for. in general very happy with mine. but whatever device you play through you always sound great. Thanks again

  • Would love to know how you think this compares to the helix. I know they are getting ready to come out with a new one. But, it would be great to hear your opinion about the existing helix, the effects, a couple of amp comparisons (perhaps the twin reverb, the Soldano or others) and just your thoughts.
