Finally A Chorus Pedal I Want On My Board – TC Electronic SCF GOLD!

I’ve always struggled to find modulation pedals that I actually like. I grew up in the ’80s where you didn’t hear a guitar unless it was completely over-saturated in chorus and over the years that take its toll to where you end up liking less effects on your guitar tone. Now everything has changed since James brought over his TC Electronic SCF STEREO CHORUS FLANGER. I loved this so much that I ordered one straight away.
Please note that this is not a sponsored video James and myself have paid for these pedals out of our own money.
The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey and Dan Hawkins on bass. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.

  • 4 minutes of this and I have bought the one on eBay that's just been offered to me. Whitesnake and Floyd is basically what I'll be playing anyway.

  • It's always refreshing to see a device review that focuses on the device itself and not on showcasing your playing skills. After playing a few notes, you'll notice that your playing skills are okay 🙂 Great presentation!

  • Pulled the trigger on one of these based on this video and haven’t been disappointed with it. Never been a fan of flangers and used to overuse chorus when I first started playing guitar In the 90’s.

This thing just does its thing without getting too over the top. Stole that flanger setting when you were coping the gilmour tones, it’s perfect for that.

Thanks for the inspiration guys, really happy with this in my rig.

  • The perfect Chorus for me.. high end preserved, lush without seasick..
The fact you have very tasty playing and wonderful guitar/amp combo doesn't help not being biased ????

  • Let me help you out get a Fender amp within effects Loop run a sparkle drive and a distortion pedal in the front end and that chorus threw a delay into the effects Loop then take the second Channel and run it to another amp using the chorus run the delay to just one app so you can really sweeten it up

  • See you guys are using a clean amp I didn't catch it are you running the chorus and the effects Loop are you running it straight in or are you running on the effects Loop of one and then using the second channel to go to a number two what are you exactly doing I don't think you guys really know

  • Amano chorus an old mono chorus sounds Kick-Ass if you have two amplifiers you just have to have one pedal that's stereo

  • You're trying really hard to like it I bet if you break out some of your old pedals you'd really like them you just have to know how to kick two amplifiers and get into stereo man then you really start seeing what chorus really does
