  • CloudVocal's products are great. I have two of their mics and they're both stellar!

  • Thanks for the review Bradford, excellent and in depth as always. One thing, could you bend the mic stem so it comes outside the guitar?

  • Thanks for the in-depth review! Have you had a chance to compare it to the DPA 4900? I just got one and love the sound and was wondering if this wireless system comes close to the quality of the DPA.
    Thanks!

  • Hey, sounds like a really good mic! I am actually looking for some sort of butget version of this, do you have anything to recommend?

  • I’m sure this is great, but I’m not a fan of mic pickups inside the body. Much more natural to have the mic an inch or two above the strings.

  • If you have a moment I would love to hear a quick shootout of this vs. the KNA just to hear exactly how much of an improvement this will give you over a simple piezo

  • What’s the piece you play for a sound sample at 13 minutes? It’s mesmerizing. I just got a Cordoba C9 Parlor for my 70th birthday. I’m starting over with your method book #1 Thank you for all you do!

  • Where does the USB plug to? The receiver or the transmitter? I saw a USB connector on the transmitter.

  • there was another youtuber, that stated that it had interference. how was it on yours? any interference?

  • Thanks for the review! I was eyeballing this one but now it definitely went up to the top of my list 🙂

One sidenote: i always prefer to have a mono signal on L&R anyway rather than suddenly just on one channel. Not sure if you did it on purpose when showing the direct sound into your soundcard.

  • Looks an excellent piece of kit. I currently use an AKG C1000s on my Cordoba and a K&K Pure Mini in my Martin 0018, not a fan of clutter of stands and leads, so definitely for consideration.

  • Thanks Bradford. Nice review. Live, my standard is a Shure SM-57. So, I'm always looking for something that is more convenient than taking mics, cables, and mic stands for my guitar trio. But … this seems like a huge premium for a wireless system. To go this route, I think I would have to be convinced this actually sounded a lot better than a $100 Shure SM-57, which is a pretty high hurdle.

You review a lot of things. I feel obligated to ask if you are compensated for these reviews? Not a problem if you are, but important information.
