Testing out the new Epiphone Grabber. After years of asking, Gibson is finally reissuing some of the bass models we love under Epiphone. Only problem with this Grabber issue is that it’s missing the most iconic feature. Let me know what you think of the new Grabber reissue!

I think a sliding pickup would be cool, but a G3 reissue is what I REALLY want
I give it ???????????????????? out of ????????????????????
Grand Funk Railroad – Are You Ready?
but for me its not so much about the pickup ive been told it didn't change tone to much my problem is this bass should be at least $300 cheaper the jack casady is $799 and the grabber has to be way easier to build.
and zzound is great company to buy from i love their payment plan
wouldn't be the ripper i know its the grabber in name.
you can get the kit to make move through Curtis Novak
KISS
Whooo weee!!!
I’m glad Gibson stuck to most of the 70s aesthetics but why ditch the most unique feature (and what’s its named after) of the bass
I'm gettin one!
I like to play money.
Curious to hear how it sounds in a mix. Hopefully not drowned out.
The final tone is what I hear in my head when I think “perfect bass tone”
More like, MONEY GRABBER.
Thrice – Scavengers ????
????????????
MIKE DIRNT I REPEAT MIKE DIRNT GREEN DAY
Cover some thrice????
I'd say it's unfortunate; and 100% a missed opportunity not to figure out a way to include that original sliding pickup configuration. It's such a unique and very interesting feature that offers a lot of tonal variety. It's extremely satisfying to have that tactile grasp on manipulating your tone.
I picked up a '76 Grabber about 12 years ago as a young teen dirt cheap and think it's such an interesting, solid bass.
That being said, in the video at least the tone seems really really close to the best sounds I'm able to get out of mine. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine over the years.
What device are you using to wireless connect your bass to your amp? Can you give the make and model?
Would've made more sense to do a Ripper reproduction
C’mon old KISS Gene played the Grabber 100,000 years, watching you, DUECE!
Since you can't move the pickup, this bass is way too expensive for what you get…
Get a Kramer D1 from the same company and call it a day !
GREEN DAY MENTIONED RAAHHHH
I recently bought one. It sounds great to me, and the neck feels smooth.
Meh! ????????
in a vacuum this is a cool bass that sounds great, but i think it’s super lame they didn’t keep the sliding pickup. i just hope they do an epiphone reissue of the g-3 grabber because i think that’s a cooler model anyway.
Ooooooh!!!!!! That boi DEFT!!!!!! That boi dexterous!!!!!!! Mans is dexy!!!!!
Man's left hand is MOVIN' movin'!!!!!!
Man's ain't fretting on the fretwork. He don't need no luthier; he files his OWN frets with FIRE!!!!!

FIYA!!!!!!!!
Ayo, is your name Dexter? ????????????
Other than that, the bass sounds nice, but it has a LOT of growl to it. Are you running it clean or dirty?
