Les Paul (or any LP style) "fiddle" with an EMG 81/85 set (and an extremely durable toggle switch), an MXR Overdrive, wah, (*), and Stereo Chorus, going into any 2 Marshall JCM800 type amps with EL34's..
*Optional MXR Smart Gate in front of amp (which is new to Zakk.. Plus, not everybody wants to roll back their volume, or step on and off a Tuner pedal every 5 seconds)*, and then a Hush type noise reduction pedal (always on) in each effects loop.. Just enough to get rid of most of the "hiss" (like a Micro Hush, or a Decimator, if you really give a shit), followed by a Delay (also optional).
Oh.. and 4 cabs with unnecessarily loud speakers for two 100 watt heads (he uses 250 watt speakers.. That's 2,000 watts handling for each 100 watt head. Really, you'll be just as loud with a couple MF400 cabs..).
