I bought an NV Tone pickup on the basis of Antoine's recommendation because he is a great musician and my experience is making purchases of equipment on the basis of great musicians has been highly rewarding, because great musicians have great integrity.
The NV Tone has been an disastrous exception. To be clear NV Tone is a Ukrainian company and I fully support Ukraine's defense of their nation against putin's criminal imperialist war of aggression.
For a little background, I have been playing guitar for more than half a century. I have a professional grade workshop to repair, modify and build guitars and basses and amplifiers. I have replaced many pickups and own (5) 12 Bar blues pickups all of which work flawlessly and are some of the best sounding pickups I have ever heard.
I received the NV Tone and immediately installed it…silence. I tried to trouble shoot, changing cables, all of which was a waste of time. After 19 emails with NV Tone where they wasted my time and tried to place the onus of their accountability on me, they finally agreed to a refund, which I suggested in the first email but then told me that they could only process the refund through paypal which is a legalized criminal enterprise. I had 2 previous transactions with them, but was ripped off on both so naturally I declined.
NV Tone finally decided to send me a replacement with assurances they tested it before sending. Dead Silence again.
I paid for a piece of equipment that is plug and play and all I received was 2 more projects.
As I said: Buyer Beware.

This guy thought the Chinese Martin D45 was a bad guitar. His opinion is worthless.

This is a great sounding pickup. Can you clarify if this is actually a pickup or just a microphone? It looks like a magnetic sound hole pickup with a mic that blends but there doesn’t appear to have any blending capability and it certainly doesn’t sound like a mag pickup.
I don't know, testing a PA for live gigs and large venues in your tiny room, then complaining about feedback? really?

Would feedback like nothing else. Try a Cole Clark guitar. A 3 way system including sensors inserted into the bridge and bracing as well as a microphone. Great natural sound and good against feedback too.
The high end of the strings sound more predominant than the low end according to my Taylor ..
So is it the most accurate pickup or is it not?? You say it is in the title but then in the video you say one of the best at this price point.. lol

And this is why I went with an L.R. Baggs Lyric system, sounds great and my sound engineer loves it.
Everse 8 has phantom power, but why does the pickup need it? Because it’s not battery powered. Too many things holding this pickup back for the professional musician. LR Baggs anthem and Hifi & Hifi Duet are more expensive, but they’ve taken care of many of these problems. And they have mics in them
I didn't care for the sound through the Bose PA, but it is interesting….
I wonder how it would compare to something like a fishman rare earth blend. That has a magnetic pickup as well in case of feedback with the mic. If this really only works at home, I already would just be using an external mic at home
