"Wind Beneath Bette Miller's Flaps" is probably a better description.
How does the Horsemeat compare to a Tube Screamer or a Boss Super Overdrive pedal? Can't seem to find any comparisons on YouTube of them.
Horsemeat is best used as a subtle tone shaper in my humble opinion. Not to much level, not too much gain, subtle voice treble and bass adjustments to a baseline guitar-amp tone. It changes the feel in a very inspiring way; takes guitars that are too muddy or too bright and can bring it to the middle.
Using the Mary compressor into the Horsemeat really drives it into a beautiful and sustaining lead tone.
Frankly, the Mary in front of almost drive pedal I have is a winning combination. I think its the winner of the bunch if you had to choose just one
I like the flanger but not the price. I have two Joyo classic flangers (the white ones with the jet on the top) and they cost £30 each DELIVERED and sound brilliant.
I can't justify over £300 for a dual flanger but if YOU can, and want it, why not?
Smoked Horse Meat is delicious!
Bette Midler's famous flange. Fantastic, really.
These were all fails.overpriced fails.
My meat got HUNG when they stomped on that horseMEAT ????????
You guys really show this stuff off very well.
Mary Cries got the Klon tone Eureka we have it now????
I bought these pedals, not because they are great, but only to test them. Not really worth it though. Boss is still the king of pedals.
Based on this demo I wouldn't buy the horsemeat, luckily there are other demos
I absolutely LOVE my horsemeat pedal…!!!
I feel like I need to become a guitar reviewer. I get so damn tired of every guitar review in the last 40 years being the exact same “let’s just play blues leads” instead of seeing if this OVERDRIVE PEDAL djents… or has any rhythm.
17:00 YUMMMMM
Horse meat is so good . Never tasted ?
Great video guys first of all the horsemeat thing I heard Paul Reed talking to Vic and Dan they asked him why the horsemeat name voice is very similar to the story when I asked the designers of the Chevrolet Camaro what is a Camaro they basically said something like it's a Ferocious Beast that eats Mustangs for breakfast the horsemeat is not a clone at all. I have the Merry Christ pedal and I love it especially at the end of all of my gain stages for Boost and sometimes just for that nice slightly brighter clean sound but the problem I have is when I click it it makes a loud boom if I'm using it as a boost so I'm wondering if I need to replace the stop switch with an easier one like you would find on EarthQuaker pedals or walrus audio pedals
That’s the best sounding opto comp pedal i have ever heard. ????
nice! wouldn't mind to own all 3 at some point
That's an MG-30 and a GP-200 right there..and they only do 3 things. Oh well..one born every minute…
Love the video! Especially the Mary Cries compressor. Forgive me if this question has already been answered, but is that Purple Silver sky purchasable or is it specially made for Pete?
i bought the Mary cries…..noisy hum noise all the time….then you turn it off and it's better that way…..really disapointed…
Pete hit the nail on the head. It sounds TOO raspy. The other pedals were great though. Just like IRL, avoid the Horsemeat!
The Mary Cries really does seem like the always on pedal!
Horse meat sounds AMAZING!! Love the way it fuzzes out when paired with the Marshall
Does your compressor pop when switching it? Mine does.
Tonal infidelity: When you eye up the curvy strat cuz your hard edged LP ain't gettin' the job done anymore. See also: Tonal adultery.
But..Why didn´t they take the chance and double-name the controls with:
heat, cut, marbling grade, salt and pepper? ????????
I think PRS is possibly diluting the brand? I did like comp though.
I really didn’t think the compressor would be my favorite, but here we are.
I trust PRS will be bringing out a vegetarian version of the drive pedal
Finally some pedals for the brand snobs and PRS investors and Paul's favourite little youtubers to help push sales on.
I want Mary Spender to review the compressor pedal 🙂
Horsemeat sounds great with a set of SD Seth Lovers through a Mesa 25 Rectifier and a 2×12 cab of your choice.
I hardy call that transparent
Horsemeat needs a PRS and Marshall combo epic trip ????????
That flanger sounds great. I've got a Morbius right now and the problem with it is I always need other pedals to do those types of effects together, so it's pretty much just a flanger for me right now. I'm going to give the prs a go whenever I can find one in a store.
It's not lez, it's less.
Excellent. We got pedals that convey the sound of PRS guitars as accurately as possible. It is surprising that the company allowed its instruments to sound completely different from what was planned. Manufacturing technology, wood and varnish, components, strings and pickups. Even the amplifiers have been thought out in this long chain of creating an authentic PRS sound. But any pedal or processor took us away from what Mr. Paul Red Smith heard in his dreams. We are waiting for a delay and a reverb. Bravo..
Best lines of the clip goes to Lee for the Bet Middler ones ????????✌????????
No wonder kids aren't interested in picking up the guitar, when youtube is crammed with middle aged drivel like this.
Why call a pedal 'horsemeat' – totally uncalled for. There's enough pedal makers already, really don't think the world needs PRS ones.
Horsemeat lol
Should have went with “Horsemeat.MPEG”
Dual Flange, Fully Wet and Pete playing 70's porn soundtrack music??????
PRS pedals for people with more money than sense…yay another bunch of pedals that do the exact same things.
Wind through the trees – inspired by A Forest by The Cure?
You put too many ads on your ads
Great demo, guys!
