Sounds good!
Nice my dude!
Don’t oil your fretboard….let the natural, oils from your fingers do that.
I just bought a 25" Glarry bass to leave at work under my desk. Got tired of worrying about my travel bass when I wasn't sitting right there with it. ????
For the price it is difficult to find any better. Budget instruments have come a long way. A good setup and some new strings usually make an immediate difference without necessarily changings any of the parts right away.
I play a glarry gib5 on almost every recording ive made… Quick setup n string change n by far my favorite bass over my more expensive basses including my 60s model fender… Straight from the bass into either my ampeg BA112 or my behringer 2000 Watt head thru my 4×10 hartke XL cab… I do have a couple pedals but most of the time i run straight from bass to amp… Once u figure out the tone knobs ur good… I play shows with mine… I like XL chrome flat wounds so i throw those on all my basses when i get them but i have no complaints about my glarry… If yall wanna check out my stuff its on my page here… Definitely gets the job done… I wouldnt b opposed to glarry sending me something to try if theyre not opposed to me changing the strings lol… Ive played expensive basses n rogue basses n glarry basses… If u can play u can play… How much u paid for the bass is not important unless ur one of them i only play blah blah brand basses bcuz the name on the head stock… In other words the name brand doesnt make the bass sound good its the person playing it… If ur a beginner or even like me whos been playing out in public id tell u to buy a glarry n try ut out… I havent had one with any major issues that werent a shipping damage thing… Worth it in my opinion… If im honest out of 6 basses i own i only use my glarry since i got it… That should tell u what i think about it…
Mine needed a good deal of setup, but since I could do it myself, it was well worth the effort. Having to pay someone would have drastically changed the value proposition. Swapped the pickup with an alnico set from Temu ($5.95). Big improvement. Tuning machines are excellent. Not convinced that fretboard is rosewood and not some engineered product, but it feels fine, and the neck and fretwork were excellent out of the box.
Crank it so we ain’t gotta hear them strings clacking…
Makes me feel good abt my glarry bass
