back in the 90s i was in a famous tv show
Still got my Bandit 65, still use it all the time!
Love my Katana 50w, but I never thought my first bass amp, a Peavey Basic 60 would last over 30 years.
I used to own the Marshall Valvestate 40. If I remember correctly, the point of the name and amp is that they were hybrid, no fully solid state because they had a valve/tube in the preamp.
The pots on the Bandit get more noisy with every year.
I’ve got the Bandit. Knew it was good. Kept it. Still gotta become worthy of it.
I have a back brakes of a valve state the biggest one they made payed £100 for it ten years ago great amp
Are they trying to dial the worst tone ever ?
I love my katana mk2 and my Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster.
Its funny, even Pete's not convinced about the katana after playing the bandit and valvestate
That Marshall has such bite! ✊️
Boss Katana is pretty good. It would benefit greatly with a speaker upgrade.
Dimebag used valvestate for quite long time over his career
And everybody knows his tone
They are all better at clean. And just use pedals man.
The bandit is great. Friend of mine lent me his to repair, and once it was working again I was kind of blown away by how good it sounded
God peavey bandits are phenomenal
Too bad we can't trust anything coming from these people.
Have a 2×12 peavey Renown 400 solo series and it’s scary loud. Just plugged it in after 8 years of sitting dormant and worked like it yesterday.
I've played loads of Katanas. If have the big boy head and plug it into a 4×12 they kick ass. I hate those waza speakers.
The katana is one of the worst sounding things I’ve ever played. Idk how ppl play it. The peavey vypyr is far superior
That Marshall sounded like doody
If we didn't have the Valvestate then Oasis would have sounded like Mumford and sons
I have a Katana and really enjoy the flexibility you get for the price. It doesn’t sound quite as good as anything it tries to emulate, but it’s close enough for band practice and bar gigs.
I could see it as a cover band player’s secret weapon.
Man that Peavy packs a punch.
Katana is amazing, and i've got Marshall and use to play peavey.
