  • Our band in the late 60's and 70's used the Maestro Echoplex ep-2 that cost just under $200 which in today's money would be just under 2k of monies. I felt the tubes and analog made it sound smoother. These kinds today have it made. ????

  • Electro Harmonix has some game changing effects. The reverse engineering market has caught up, it certainly seems.

  • Time based effects like delay should be in the effects loop if you have one, and first in the chain there. Try it see what it does. In my loop, I go – Delay, the Chorus. Sounds amazing. But experimenting is fun, and you may find something else that tickles your ear, and that's what matters.

  • Haven't been that out of it since I took some orange juice from a hippy at a Grateful Dead concert (cannot recommend by the way) ????. Great demo other than the initial anxiety attack. Might have to consider this as I'm building a small pedal board for when I don't want to be all digital. I'm still new to delay and this seems to not be overly complicated. Nice one!

  • I've been getting by with a Memory Toy for slight slapback. I find even with the delay zero'd out, it offers a very nice boost.

If I were in the market for a delay, I'd consider this. Good video.

  • That's a cool pedal. You sounded like pink Floyd the wall album. I like your videos. You need to make another video for the made in USA simpletons. again. Where you play something and you can say it was played in the usa.????????????????????????✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️

  • Wow, I feel like I was having flashbacks from my time in the 80’s!! Good episode!! I think!!

  • Regarding cheapness, I have five overdrive pedals, including an Ibanez Tube Screamer, a late 70's MXR Distortion +, a Danelectro Daddy-O, a Boss OD and one that my wife brought home from the discount bin store she frequents and paid $1.00 for, a Chinese Gihubo Overdrive. It's blue with flamingoes on it. I find myself using it the most which is a testament to one of two things; the quality of the pedal or my bad taste in overdrive.

  • Nice for the size, but no match for my original 80s DMM. 😉 The repeats on the XVive are quite a bit darker, and the overall musicality of the DMM is far superior, as well it should be for the price diff.

  • I have a DMM (Nano). This pedal doesn't sound very much like it, sorry.
Still liked the video, though. Especially the start of it, lol.
