  • I had a few people ask me to share the patches I made for the ToneX setup! These are made specifically for the ToneX with the Cabinet. If you're recording directly, you may need to adjust the settings. You're hearing the speaker mic'd up in this video. Links in the description. Thanks to the crew at ToneX for sending this beast out!

  • Not my thing but i still watched the whole video to hear your thoughts and the sounds you came up with. Btw the opening jam was great Shane!

  • Good content. Downloaded the presets and found out that I couldn't load the blues and lead on to my tonex one because they require Tonex Max for the amps, the clean does work as the clean dumble is included with tonex CS. I've been tempted to buy the larger pedal that includes Max but haven't. Was looking forward to trying them.

  • How does it feel in comparison to a delux reverb or ac30 etc.sounds great for sure.

  • There are a couple of TEAL STRIPE Bandits on GUMTREE $150 Sheffield speakers one is Tidy Built like Tanks – bit of good retro FUN there for sure – I would grab one but already have one

  • That sounds really nice. Have you tried the ToneX pedal as just an effects unit plugged into a tube amp? If so, what did you think?

  • Looks like a very nice pedal. If I didn’t have so many pedals I might would consider one

  • Though about getting a cortex mini used but people say not to buy them used because they arent
Assigned to you and its hard to get them to do down loads. Anybody find this to be the case?

  • Glad to see you back and on the mend Shane. One question, if you’re playing on the clean setting and you instantly want to change to the lead setting is it just a matter of pressing the foot pedal to get to the lead tone without stuffing around trying to choose the next tone?

  • I didn’t buy the ToneX pedal until recently. I’ve got stuff that I like, and I didn’t really care for the videos on YouTube. I decided to buy one, and I’m impressed. It’s fun to play. I’m still getting comfortable with the UI, but the tones and feel are definitely worth buying. When they come out with a full Helix-type pedalboard it will dominate the market.

  • This is cool. Thanks a bunch Shane. I bought the valeton gp5 based on your video instead of the tonex one. I've been using it for headphone practice. Any chance of you posting some of your patches for that?

  • Really tapping into a sweet range of tones with just a roll off. sounds great!

  • Shane I’m so sorry you haven’t been feeling well! I certainly hope you’re on the mend and we’ll be seeing more of you in the near future! Great video as always! I might have to pickup up one of these ToneX cabinets and foot switch’s from the good folks at ToneX they do manage to keep their products at very reasonable prices! Wishing you the best and a very speedy recovery!

  • Tonex is great stuff. Whether it’s tones are “exactly “ the same or not as the amps they capture they are nonetheless great.
