Love the video. I would argue that the chromatic scale is more important than the major scale. It will add character and color into your solo.

Scott, I just bought a bass last week, and "The Gig Bag Book of BASS SCALES", and they list the Cmajor scale as "Cmajor (Ionian)". Is this the same Cmaj scale that you are using here?
